| This is a very dry and simple Mead, made by fermenting honey with no fruit and no sulfites and almost no residual sugar. Ours is a lot less sweet than most meads, and should go well with fish and shellfish (not salmon). We have noticed that people who like this wine tend to like beer.
And be warned; Mead generally throws a sediment and gets cloudy. We have not overcome this, but we have found the flavor of our Mead to be unaffected by the sediment, as long as the color is golden, not bronze |
