Tasting notes
| Opens with a bouquet of apple cider. A nice mousse, crispness, and an apple, bready, creamy palate with nuances of citrus and nuts and a bit of astringency leads to a finish which is broader than long. There's a lot of freshly baked bread aromas in this delightful bubbly, along with peach pie and even apricot. This is an intense wine, dry and scouring and the crisp tartness follows through on the finish.

Very pale, with very fine, lively bubbles; lemony citrus aroma with hints of toast, nuts and burnt sugar; delicate yeasty apple flavor. Excellent value.

Almonds and a strongly yeasty element are the main characters of this sparkling wine. It’s full, but the fruit still has a texture to it, leaving a good acidity to finish. Good value, enjoyable wine.

Make your own or buy a package of roasted, salted pumpkin seeds at the grocery store and serve with a dry sparkling wine for a superb pairing. One bargain is the Marquis de la Tour non-vintage ”Brut, Loire Valley.”

Wine maker notes
This sparkling wine is made from 100% Loire grapes. Because of its northern location, the grapes maintain an excellent acidity. Consistency and quality are carefully monitored to create very fine bubbles. The dosage has been perfected to make a clean, fruity but dry sparkling wine of extraordinary quality at a very attractive price.
Food pairing
Served chilled. This sparkling wine can accompany an entire meal or be served as an aperitif.
